(Extremely) Random thoughts for the day:

My life has been revolving around :
(i) soccer
and (ii) NBA
It's quite fun I must say but it feels as if I'm detached away from the real world.
Somehow, I'm just losing contact with my friends and it feels like they're slipping away.

To you: Sorry that I have not sent you the letter that I've promised. Actually, I've written one to you, but - it was never sent out.

To another: The lost letter was never sent back to me!!!!!!

On a lighter note: I've received my cherries from Hong Kong!!!!!!!

Poor MS, I think that Liverpool has been extremely unlikely to meet such a tough opponent. Steven Gerrad probably wouldn't get to play for long in the Champs League.

Go MAN U!!!!!

Oh gosh, I'm so jealous that Daphne's at Hong Kong right now enjoying herself. I have told her a gazillion times before she leaves Singapore to get me some cherries from there. Hopefully she will remember her poor friend here who is suffering from post-cherries depression.

A random shot of her and me at the tution centre:
Hope that all goes well tomorrow!!! (: It will be a long long day for me~

** Mr Chan, I am looking forward to my Sun biscuits from you!

And so, I was tired of working and I took a break today. The best part of the day was when I bought cherries to eat!!!!!!! Goodness me, I was at NTUC and I saw that the cherries cost $6.95 for a punnet! I almost screamed out for joy!!!! WEEEEEE... and so I happily satisfied my craving!

I guess this is just one way to relinquish those days back in HK. Listening to canto song we all loved, because I guess I am feeling the same way as how the title of the song reflects right now.

And down the river's dim expanse
Like some bold seer in a trance,
Seeing all his own mischance -
With a glassy countenance
Did she look to Camelot.
And at the closing of the day
She loosed the chain, and down she lay;
The broad stream bore her far away,
The Lady of Shalott.

The painting is called The Lady of Shalott completed in 1880. It's a part of the story from the King Arthur series and Lady Shalott led a confined life behind the mirror until she meets Sir Lancelot. And so she ignored the curse by leaving the tower, ignoring the curse upon her and sat on this boat to take a look at the outside world. Well, the forbidden fruit always tempts everyone.

But the painting seriously calms me. I don't know why.

Ending on a random note: I love CHERRIES!!!!

It was ages ago when I last blogged.

Have really been busy at work- typing non-stop for hours. Until recently when I just went on trial for another job which I really really liked, but I guess the final decision whether to employ me lies mainly on the boss.

Working part-time somehow gave me a rough guide of working life in the future and it really made me think deep and hard. It's really tough working and I'm like cherishing every single cent that I'm earning now.

Missing those days spent in Hong Kong with them. The times we walked down the streets rather aimlessly, eating meals as and when we liked, the nights out in the hotel room planning for our next day's itinery. I liked it because it felt as if we depended on each other and no one else, as if the whole world was non-existent except for us. (:

I love CHERRIES!!!!!
