I was watching Maria Sharaprova playing her first match of the year with Camille Pin this morning since 8am. The match lasted for a freaking 2h 15mins and having to crawl out of bed at 4am in the morning, waiting for the results of this game was seriously a pain.

Yet I truly impressed by her endurance and determination. In fact, the entire game was actually Sharaprova vs Sharaprova herself. Considering the fact that she was from Siberia, Russia, having to battle the sweltering heat of 35degrees was too much to ask from her. She looked just like a lobster at the end of the game. But one has to admit that psychologically, she's way strong.

Sometimes in life, it's hard to be just like her, pressing your way through the entire course having to battle mind games with yourself.

In football, you talk a lot about teamwork, collaboration and unity.
In tennis, it's more about you outwinning, outlasting and outdoing your opponents. It's more handling and assessing the situation yourself.

That's just the beauty of sports. [:

PS: Oh boy, I'm glad that the Suns won their 10th consecutive game today. Stupid Stoudemire, ought to have given Nash a chance to score more points.

My computer has been down for ages and I mean ages.

January has arrived and it feels like many people are actually leaving Singapore soon. I hate this feeling of sending them off, and many are leaving permanently- for good. I'm damn touched that you actually bothered to tell this old friend of yours that you're going. Thank you my dear although that I hate knowing that you're leaving.

Work's good I must say although I'm allocated to some un-earthly timing but I guess I get to spend more time with my colleagues. They have been really really really nice people, though I do hate this new guy at work particularly.

A glimpse at the papers these days question Bush for his stance with regards to Iraq. The democrats blasted him for his irrationale act to increase the troops there. But I'm honestly with Bush. I mean just take US preventing Iraq with their sectarian conflict to turn into another Afghan.

Blood Diamonds is a bloody good movie besides the fact that Leonardo DiCaprio is a wonderful actor, the plot's touching and it's basically a blast. Watch it if you do have the time! (:
