1984

Hello everybody,

If you've been keeping tabs on the US Presidential Election 2008, you must have known that Barack Obama and Hilary Clinton are currently tied at 2 a-piece.

But from a very personal stand, I'm rooting for Obama. Not only because he's of mixed blood but also for his efforts to push voters to cast their votes beyond racial lines. Race, how long have we as human beings been harping about race. The Apartheid, Martin Luther King, the Jews(maybe debatable whether are they a race) and a long list that goes on.

Quoted from Barack Obama:
"I am absolutely convinced that White, Black, Asian, Latino, people want to move beyond our divisions, and people want to join together in order to create a movement of change in this country"

And I truly believe in this. I do.

I found this clip on YouTube and it is titled Hilary '1984'. It's as meaningful as a political cartoon!

O-BA-MA! WE WANT CHANGE!

I've noticed the lack of posts recently, actually for close to a month because I've been caught up in a flurry of activities that drains the soul out of me.

For the past few weeks, I had been spending time with people who either came back from abroad or are going to leave soon. On one hand, I've just felt that age is catching with all of us (the big TWENTY!) and that all of us are heading in all directions. Probably, the next time I'll meet them again is in another few months time, a stark difference when meeting them used to be a daily affair

On the other hand, it makes me wonder what will happen in a few months time.

Fly me on your planeSometimes, looking at the pictures of your favourite player make you feel safe. I love Steve Nash. There isn't any particular reason for it. You know it when you like a person. It's the aura. (:
